Maybe we need a mobile app that gets people to use the mobile app we already have…

So many enterprises roll out mobile apps that are simply not very good and fail to get adoption.  Why?  Because they are usually mobile web extensions of enterprise apps that did not have great adoption to begin with.  That is not a winning app strategy.

Yet IT departments continue to push out tired, stale, and non-intuitive apps with poor user experiences and little value to users.  We think mobile presents a new way to think about enterprise business software and to reinvent the user experience in a way that draws in users and gives them functionality that improves their work day.  Instead of more apps, maybe it is time companies start to take the classic advice from those Apple ads and think different.

We live in an age where we have access to video of almost anything we can think of at a moment’s notice. We are more connected than ever, not only to content but also each other. The way we consume content has changed drastically yet, television lags far behind. Why is it that we need to fit our increasingly busy schedules around TV programming and it doesn’t work within ours? The answer is unfortunately depressing. Six behemoth companies own 90% of the media in America. They’d like to keep it that way. What could our TV be like if this weren’t the case? Enter Lumi. Lumi represents a new system that enlightens customers to a better experience. It combines anytime access to all of your favorite content with an enhanced live and first-run experience.
